Sladjana Stevenson
Owner, RMT, R. BIE

Sladjana graduated from Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy in February, 2013. She worked at Sanctuary Day Spas in Vaughan in the past and has relocated to Fergus in September of 2014 . She joined the team at Grand River Massage Therapy at that time and has successfully built a large clientele in Fergus and the surrounding areas! She is now excited to continue working in this beautiful historic town, right beside the Grand River, as she takes on a new role as the owner of Riverside Massage Therapy and Wellness Clinic.
Sladjana offers Therapeutic Hot Stone Massage, prenatal treatments, deep tissue treatments, as well as TMJ & bruxism treatments. She is passionate about Alternative Health Care solutions and looks forward to helping as many people as possible move back towards their ideal state of health, and especially to helping children with learning disabilities improve their quality of life.
RPN

Kim Stewart graduated with honours from nursing with emphasis on emotional well being. Previous to opening her own practice in Riverside, Kim worked at the Homewood Health Centre (psychiatric hospital in Guelph, Ontario) for many years supporting patients with eating disorders, anxiety, trauma and depression. Kim is licensed as an RPN to practice
psychotherapy in Ontario.
Kim has additional practical experience as a Senior Support Worker for Women In Crisis and added volunteer work as a group facilitator for victims of abuse. Kim is the author of “Emotional Wisdom: Using your head when your heart breaks.” And was columnist of the “Healing Touch” for seven years.
Interests include the impact of stress and nutrition on health and disease. Kim created the Wellington Board of Education approved lunch program “mykidzlunch” that supplied local, organic, with gluten free optional, lunches to elementary school age children (lol, the tough customer), and has a passion for working with people who also struggle with emotional eating, weight loss or gain.

Jordan graduated from the Cambridge College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in May of 2016. She has been practicing in Guelph since then. She is a local girl, born and raised in Fergus, some of you may already be familiar with her as a friendly face due to her previous work as a cashier.Jordan is trained in deep tissue, hydrotherapy, sports massage, and golgi tendon techniques. She is great at applying deep pressure, thankfully though if you ask, she is more than happy to lighten her grip to your level of comfort.Jordan is excited to join our team at Riverside Massage Therapy and Wellness and looks forward to working with clients in her local area!
RMT

Kristy graduated with honors from Georgian College in 2016. It was there she achieved an advanced diploma in Massage Therapy. She is a member of both the CMTO (College of Massage Therapists of Ontario) and RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapist’s Association of Ontario). Kristy has since received certifications in kinesiology taping, cupping therapy, aromatherapy, hot stone massage and advanced pre-natal massage. With five years of experience as an RMT, Kristy brings a very valuable approach to the massage therapy profession.
Her knowledge and background in massage can not only be used during a time of injury but also to help prevent injuries from happening and or reoccurring. Her holistic approach to treatment utilizes various modalities such as Swedish massage, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, hydrotherapy and manual lymphatic drainage.
Dependent on clients’ needs, she can also offer evidence-based homecare such as stretch and strengthening exercises to assist with relief between treatments. Kristy’s goal is to provide safe and best practice to help maintain both the physical and mental health aspect of her clients as it is essential in achieving a good quality of life.
RMT

Katalin graduated from the Royal College of Massage Therapy in October 2014. She worked as a health care professional in her own business for many years. Included in her approaches are hot stone massage, aromatherapy, prenatal massage, cupping and lymphatic drainage. Her special techniques may include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, facilitated positional relief, soft tissue manipulation, and muscle energy technique. She is also certified in reflexology and cranial sacral therapy. Katalin is passionate about her work and is looking forward to helping her clients.
CCO

Karie graduated from the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO- Toronto) in 1997. Before running her own clinic, Karie was a critical care nurse for 15 years in burn units in Edmonton, AB. and Toronto, ON. Karie started her Craniosacral Therapy training with the Upledger Institute in 1990 before enrolling in CCO in 1993. Karie provides treatment for all age groups, from newborns to elderly seniors. The gentle nature of Cranioscaral Therapy addresses numerous conditions, from infant colic to migraines to stress- related muscle tension. Karie is delighted to join the team at Riverside Massage Therapy and Wellness in offering health services to the community.
